Thanksgiving is only two days away and most of you probably have a good idea of what you’re cooking. Mashed potatoes are very necessary on our Thanksgiving table – perfect for smothering in the delicious gravy as well as dunking turkey and veggies in. Today we bring you a simple recipe to add some flare to your normal mashed potato. With only a few ingredients, this is a great last minute tweak. Nicole has cooked these for some picky eaters and they have enjoyed it every time.
This is a great recipe because the nuttiness of the brown butter enriches the creaminess of the potatoes themselves. The crispy sage leaves also add a nice texture contrast as well as a pretty presentation.
We will spending Thanksgiving with Dave’s family in the suburbs of Philadelphia. It’s a large event every year. We hope all of you have a good holiday. Hopefully stress free, with good food and great company.
