As promised from our taco post here are the recipes for our salsas. We really like to use them for our pork tacos, nachos, and breakfast tacos. There is no limit here, and these salsas have been very handy for something quick.
School has just started and that means no time for playing with food. Yes mom, I play with food now a days and I don’t know why you ever told me not to. Sadly with no time for playing there also comes no time for long recipes. A need for some quick snacks arose, and the call was answered with some leftover salsas. It was purely a coincidence that tomatillos were also at the farmer’s market.
Here we decided to just snack with some chips while we waited for our actual dinner to be done. Turns out that chips are just edible spoons used to not look like a crazed person stuffing their face with spoonfuls of salsa. I don’t know what it is, but just eating salsa with a spoon should be socially acceptable. So grab a bag of your favorite chips, or a spoon, and dig in.
Like I said, these salsas can be used for everything. Throw them on salads, dump them on nachos. I don’t think we found a bad use for them yet. As always happy cooking.
